How we compare plans
JRS Digital compares NBN and mobile plans by what they cost over your first 12 months, not the headline promo price. Here's where the numbers come from and how the site makes money.
Who runs this site
JRS Digital is run by Jeevan Shah, an Australian software engineer. It's independent: no telco owns it, funds it or reviews pages before they go live.
Where prices come from
- Every day, our scripts read each provider's own plan pages and Critical Information Summaries. We don't copy prices from other comparison sites.
- We track 268 plans from 38 providers. That isn't every provider in Australia.
- When a check fails, we keep the last price we confirmed and show that date on the provider's page. Right now we're waiting on fresh prices from Dodo (last confirmed 22 October 2026), Leaptel (last confirmed 22 October 2026), Neptune Internet (last confirmed 22 October 2026), Southern Phone (last confirmed 10 October 2026), SpinTel (last confirmed 11 October 2026), Vodafone (last confirmed 22 October 2026).
- Every price change we record is listed on the provider's page and on our price changes page.
How we rank plans
Plans are sorted by first-year cost: the promo price for the promo months, then the ongoing price for the rest of the year.

$76 × 6 months + $104.95 × 6 months = $1,085.70 in the first year
- 28-day mobile plans renew 13 times a year, so we count 13 payments, not 12.
- Annual SIMs count as one payment for the year.
- Evening speeds, the 30-day notice rule and CGNAT opt-out are listed for each plan, but they never change the order. You can filter by them.
How we make money
- Some "View plan" links are referral links through Commission Factory. If you sign up through one, the provider may pay us a fee. It costs you nothing extra.
- Referral fees never change the ranking. A plan with no referral link sits exactly where its first-year cost puts it.
- We don't sell sponsored placements or run display ads.
- Readers can also support the site on Ko-fi.
What we can't tell you
- Whether a plan is available at your address. Check with the provider first.
- Prices can change between our daily checks. The provider's Critical Information Summary is the final word.
- This is general information, not financial advice.
