NBN 750 is the Home Superfast tier after NBN Co's September 2025 speed upgrade, which lifted Superfast from 250 Mbps to up to 750 Mbps download, with 50 Mbps upload.
NBN 750 or NBN 500: which should I get?
NBN 500 is plenty for most homes, including several 4K streams and gaming at once. NBN 750 mainly helps households that download large files often or have many heavy users at the same time. Check the price gap first: it's sometimes small.
Can I get NBN 750 at my address?
Only on Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) connections. Fibre to the Node and Fibre to the Curb can't reach these speeds.
What equipment do I need for NBN 750?
A Wi-Fi 6, 6E or 7 router and gigabit Ethernet on wired devices. Over Wi-Fi, a single device will usually see less than the full 750 Mbps.
How do you rank these plans?
By first-year cost: the promo price for the promo months, then the ongoing price for the rest of the year. Referral fees never change the order. Prices come from each provider's own plan pages and are checked daily.
